We heard about this place by family and friends about a restaurant that serves Hawaiian food as well as Filipino food. As far as Filipino restaurants in the Bay Area, this is a pretty good one as far as ambiance and restaurant feel. There is no convenient parking so you really have to be parking savvy. There is a garage on market street that is free for the 1st 90 minutes, then you have to walk a couple of blocks. Our server was nice and accommodating. They had the television on so we chatted about what was on for a bit. The food was pretty good. I had the Kahula pig. It was as expected. The garlic wings was good too. As far as Hawaiian food, it is up there. Overall: if you're in tha area give it a go

Had a work event here, and the workers were very accommodating and friendly. there is plenty of seating here as well. There's also a bar with TVs. All we ordered were the sandwiches and the sides. For the sides we had the salad and the tater tots. The the tater tots could've been better because they were not crispy and tasted bland. The sandwiches are very flavorful and filling. They have a variety of meat options for the sandwiches. I ordered the sisi to see which was very delicious.

Came here as I was craving for Filipino food. Located at downtown San Jose. Street parking was a bit hard to find as usual. There's a parking lot right down the street so be prepared to pay premium for that. Ambiance here is great as we walked in. Lots of space. Staff and chefs were friendly. Big tv at the bar area, perfect for game night or just pure entertainment. Table was totally tropical style as we found a little sticky. Probably from all the frying at the open kitchen. Food here is solid. We liked everything we ordered: pineapple sweet chili wings, Lechon, Lechon sisig, kalbi short ribs, garlic fried rice. Would definitely come back.

Service and vibes here get 5 stars! Everyone working was super friendly and welcoming (and hilarious). It's a causal vibe bar, but was kid-friendly during dinner time. The food here is good, it's solid. They offer appetizers, bowls, and more. My favorite items were the lumpia and the bayrito! The bayrito is huge and packed full of tots and meat (I had the kalua pork). The bowls were all good looking and the portions are generous. Overall, a solid spot for bar-like food.
